A Texas Tech University System school plans to stop considering race when admitting medical students. Education Department spokeswoman Liz Hill said the school chose to stop using race altogether according to The Washington Post. The OCR has opened investigations into Yale and Harvard University over alleged discrimination against Asian American applicants according to WSJ. Vancouver businessman David Sidoo faces a charge of conspiracy to commit money laundering for his alleged role in a college admissions scandal in the United States. Sidoo was previously charged with conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud in connection with the scandal. Loughlin and Giannulli were among 33 prominent parents accused of participating in a scheme that involved rigging college entrance exams and bribing coaches at elite universities
